Coming from the US port of departure Houston. Arrive San Jose airport (there are other airports but this one is the most common). You will probably arrive at night. Irazu Hotel is about 20 mins taxi from airport. Sansa Airlines flies all over the country. Use overland buses and ground shuttles.
